1st Annual Matt "Bulldozer" Stanley Memorial Run

We had a beautiful day for Matt's run. We actually had a huge turn out.  There were over 300 people that turned out and about 100 bikes. My friends Kenny and Valerie had the honor of riding his bike.  His mom showed up at the end and had words to say that even made the baddest biker cry. We raised a little over $8,000 for his twin daughters. It was a great day of fellowship, and catching up with people we haven't seen since last summer.

Feeding a bunch of bikers

Well, I just got word I have o do a hell of a lot of cooking for the run on the 11th.  I always make 4 dozen deviled eggs, but now I have to make 8. Then me and Star are going to make some white chili, and a pot of bean soup. That doesn't count the tater salad, pasta salad, macaroni salad, green bean casserole, cheesecake, and other cakes. Then that day we get to grill steaks, chicken, and pork chops. I knew there would be a lot of people coming, but I sure didn't expect this many. (Which is over 400 bikers!!) Bulldozer wasn't in the club, but many people loved him very much. He is truly missed. All the money we raise will go directly to his twin daughters, who are only 13 years old. We've made arrangements for someone to ride his bike and take the girls with us so they can ride their dads bike one last time. So the turn out expected right now is already double what we planned for. That rocks!!

You are missed right now and forever!! R. I. P.

Helping a brother out

We went to a benefit party last night in West Point KY. Our friend Butch was attacked and ended up losing his eye. So we had a kick ass party for him and had a blast. Unfortunately it was raining like hell, with tornado warnings all over. That forced everyone it to the bar. That was a little claustrophobic. Nothing like being in the same room with 400 + bikers. It was an awesome evening though. There was over $5000 raised that went towards his medical bills and to help out his family. We were happy that he was with us.  I can't wait for our Memorial Run for Bulldozer. He passed away a few days before Christmas. So we will have a run for him next weekend.

If I could tame a wild animal

Raccoon sleeping in a tree by Tambako the Jaguar

I used to have a pet raccoon. He was a lot of fun. Very protective though. We had him stuffed after he bit the insurance man on the leg. LOL He thought he was a person. He could let himself into the house, he got bacon and eggs every morning, and had his own place at the dinner table.

My nickname

My biker name is panda bear or shanda panda because it rhymes with my name. I've been called that for years. Alot of people don't even know my real name. But I know many people for many years and I don't have a clue of what their real names are.

I wish I could get a new location, location, location

I am stuck in the city and I'm no city slicker. I can't wait to get back out to the country. I need space for my dog to run, my kids to run and myself. I miss bonfires and being able to see the stars at night.
